Mihajlo Kostic was born on 11.10.1973. He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education in 1998. an got a Master's degree in Nis 2004 with the tesis: the predictive value of morphological characteristics and motor abilities for results in repetitive strength. He received his PhD in 2011. with the tesis: Transformation processes of some anthropological characteristics under the influence of motoric speed, agility and explosiveness in school children. Even in the course of their studies showed interest in the physical preparation of athletes. He started working as an expert in fitness and physical training for the famous sports figure Jovan Jovanovic in the company of Physical Culture "Bubanj" in Nis, and three years later formed his own fitness club "Sport Fit".

He achieve significant results in his work thus the a large number of professional clubs for the physical preparation of athletes hire him:

- Youth Basketball Club "Nibac"

- Female handball club "DIN"

- Handball club "Železnicar Jugopetrol"

- Water Polo Club "Niš-Classic"

- Women's football club "Mašinac RCC"

- Women's handball club "Zajecar" (winners of the league and Serbia cup champion in the season 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 year)

Thanks to the results achieved in his work he was hired as strength and conditioning coach in three national teams in water polo, football and handball. As a renowned strength coach and an individual he was hired in physical preparation of the national team of various branches of sport (handball, basketball, football, tennis, ...). Among them were athletes from broad (Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Hungary, Australia, Spain, Romania).

It is worth mentioning that he had successful cooperation with renowned coaches who were repeatedly selectors different countries Zoran Zivkovic Tuta, Nišavić Dragan, Zoran Ivic, Dragan Markov, Dusko Milic (Handball), Nenad Manojlovic, Nenad Vasilevski (water polo) and Perica Krstic (football) and to the coaches who are highly respected Radmilo Jovanovic (karate), Pajo Pavlovic, Branka Jovanovic (handball), Zoran Dojcinovic (Athletics), and Aleksandar Antonijevic Slobodan Kuzmanovic (football) and Milan Josic, Nenad Disic and Dragan Ratkovic (basketball).

In the physical experience he was noted for his work in rehabilitating sports injuries (knee and shoulder joint, and post recovery after Achilles tendon injury) in the bidding process and transition period.

He has participated in seminars for teachers of physical education in primary and secondary schools in the region of Nis to demonstrate modern methods and forms of organization of work for the development of motor skills of school children.

He participated in all national and international conferences and seminars in the field of physical training. Besides professional work, Mihajlo Kostic has constantly been perfecting his profession by using the contemporary domestic and foreign literature, so he has a large number of books, brochures, collections of papers and a series of CD's with practical training and the latest developments in the world of science and sport.

In his work he uses the most advanced methods and different equipment used all around the world.
